THE PLAY
Six students of Renoir Highschool in Asnière get together to perform THE ACTORS OF GOOD FAITHI by Marivaux. These rehearsals are only a pretence to show us the « real life » of those teenagers.
With 16 YEARS, the stage director and author Pascal Rambert, director of the T2G Théâtre de Gennevilliers — centre dramatique national de création contemporaine, offers a theatre for adolescents made by adolescents about concerns of adolescence: anxiety, timidity, desire, incomprehension, despair, panic, worry, tranquillity, love, de-love, boredom… The young actors play themselves and improvise each evening, based on a pre-established thread. They present a “reality-show” in which teenagers will recognize themselves while adults will finally learn everything they wanted to know about young people but never dared to ask.
Two performances are open only for teenagers under eighteen.
Pascal Rambert already came to Orléans in MAY 2011 with A (MICRO) HISTORY OF WORLD ECONOMICS, DANCED, created with fifty non-professionals of the region Centre.
